What made you get into Hip Hop?  

I stared rhyming when I entered the military in 1999. Some close friends of mines were doing so I said I wanted to try it out.  I was already doing poetry so I felt it would be a good step in another direction.

How long have you been rapping?

About 5 yrs now

What are your feelings on the current status of Hip Hop Culture?

I think the culture has been going up and down lately. I have seen some positive things done like the conference for all the west coast rappers.  How they said they killed all the beef's that they had going on. Also I seen some negative things like how the talent of a mc nowadays is determined by how much money he or she could make. But Hip Hop is a culture that has cycles. One year the main focus is gun talk the next years its knowledge the next month its party tracks. I think were getting better than the way it was when we had that east coast west coast thing going on. Hip Hop is whatever you make man. It can be great to me and stupid to the dude next door. I think it’s leaving a big impression on society. Urban clothes on suburban kids, white kids acting more like their favorite rap star. This thing we call hip-hop is god.

How different is Hip Hop now compared to 20 years ago?  

Battling can get you killed and the new school kids are a whole lot more aware of their money and how to make it.

What direction would you like to see the culture move in?

What role does the Vanguard play in the Hip Hop movement?

A mixture of old school and new school flavor. We are trying to open the mind of the community man. I believe were about the change that kanye started and we are the roots that nas put down.

Do you have any Projects in the works? What should your fans expect in the next year?  

Well I’m working on my dolo album Anakin seed right now. The release date on that is still unknown but I’m shooting for early September 05.  My fans should expect the same thing they always get from me. That hunger, attitude and charisma on tracks. I will be getting out to perform more this year so you can expect a lot from me

 Well as right now you can go to soundclick .com and listen to it. just type my name in MURDAKKH. I got a store out in Bergenfield that will be supporting me when it comes down to sales so hopefully that will be up in the next month or two. So I will keep you posted.
